5 Step Process
1 > Book Your Inspection
Start the process by filling out the enquiry form. We will gather some info about the bike and potential damage to help understand what inspection suits you the best.
2 > Bike Transport To Our Lab
Choose to drop off your bike or opt in for our transport service.
Our open hours are here (contact us page). If your bike requires disassembly or cleaning there will be additional fees.
3 > Inspection Process
Initial Visual Inspection
A Carbon Craft X qualified technician will conduct an initial assessment of your bike once received and will confirm with you the best inspection recommended for your case.
Detailed Inspection(s)
- Ultrasonic pulse echo inspection
- External digital microscopy
- Internal borescope
- Active Thermography
Our tests are all non destructive and will not cause any damage to your pride and joy.
4 > Receive Your Report
Carbon Craft X will prepare a comprehensive report including any findings or damage and providing recommendations for maintenance / repairs.
Your report can be used as a "certificate of health" of your bike when you want to sell it.
Your report can be accessed anytime via an easy QR code.
5 > Reassembly & Return
Arrange pick up / delivery of your inspected bike.
If we have found damage on your bike we will consult with you on next steps and your options to get it repaired.
